Another week, another pair of leading ladies in a lip-lock.
This time it’s Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore in the upcoming sexual thriller, Chloe, which comes out in March (watch the trailer below).
Naked, check; beautiful women, check; both of whom are resolutely heterosexual with handsome real-life boyfriends, check.
We can’t help thinking that girl-on-girl scenes are more about playing to male porn-inspired fantasies than anything else. It’s hardly the stuff of genuine lesbian role-models. What do you think? Is this just another example of homophobic Hollywood, where you can ‘play gay’ as long as you’re not – gasp – genuinely in love with another woman?
