The really sweet stocking filler

Everyone has one impossible-to-buy-for in their gift group. You know the person you always end up lumbered with in Secret Santa, who isn’t into fashion, doesn’t follow music or have any notable hobby or interest.

Worst still, if Mr Awkward is your other half – that’s what I have to deal with. So on top of coming up with an imaginative idea for his main gift, I have to think ‘cute’ little stocking fillers (because that’s what good girlfriends do).

Three cheers then for Tshirt Patisserie (www.tshirtpatisserie.co.uk) who sell a range of personalised eatables, which they’ll gift wrap and send to anywhere in the UK.

I’m gutted, I only just discovered the wonders of this website – I could have saved myself hours of pointless shop-trawling. Because even the-man-who-has-everything likes chocolates, doesn’t he. And you should have seen the range of custom chocs these guys created for our Christmas party goodybags each printed with I heart Grazia (and they even used our actual logo).

GRAZIA

What’s more, they actually taste as good as they look. Because, I’m not being funny, most personalised chocs taste like stale Easter eggs.

Inspired, I ordered a box of white chocolate hearts for my beau (I won’t tell you what I wrote on them – don’t want to ruin the surprise for him). And don’t worry, if you’re thinking of writing a cheeky message, I’ve been assured the icers aren’t easily shocked – and have had some rather unusual requests in their time.

And if chocolates aren’t his/her things, they also personalise cupcakes and clothing, in partnership with American Apparel.

So forget say it with flowers, we’re saying it with chocolates… although, the way these taste, flowers would probably last longer!
