Here at Grazia, we’re all about the glamour. Obviously. But even we were impressed by the latest edition of Oprah, in which the four leading ladies from upcoming musical Nine – and their male co-star, one Daniel Day Lewis – get together for a chat.
There are four divas on stage (count ‘em), and they’re all beautiful. Can you imagine the conversations their stylists must have had beforehand? (We think Nicole steals the show, actually – the girl knows how to rock block colour).
As well as some lovely interviews – in which we learn that Penélope got calluses from all the rope dancing and Nicole brought Sunday Rose on set – Oprah shows even more clips from the upcoming movie, and the more we see, the more we like. Often when big stars get together for a film it can be a bit of a snoozefest (did you see He’s Just Not That Into You? Awful, awful, awful), but this looks good: Proper amazing A-listers, gorgeous amazing costumes and a super-amazing director – Rob Marshall, the man behind Chicago – so please, Lord, let it be the toe-tapping, visually gorgeous slice of cinematic splendour we’re hoping for. Roll on the release date (December 18 FYI).
