Mary Portas One Life: Over To You

Mary Portas

Every week in Grazia, Mary Portas listens to a reader's dilemma and gives her honest, straight-talking take on the situation. Today, it's your turn to help out Grazia reader Helen. Read her letter and let us know what advice you would give her if she was your friend. Should she head to London for a fresh start? Or is that just a knee-jerk reaction to an upsetting break-up?

‘Do I need a fresh start?'
Six months ago I was preparing to qualify as a psychologist and living with my boyfriend in the house we'd bought together. But everything was thrown in to orbit when my relationship ended and now I don't know what to do. I've got a job lined up near where I live and could stay up north where I have family and a dog I co-own with my ex. But I'm wondering if I should move to London to start afresh, although I'm scared of such a big change. What should I do?
Helen, 30, Newcastle
