Every week in Grazia, Mary Portas lends her ear to a reader and gives her savvy, no-nonsense take on the situation. Today, it's your turn to help out Grazia reader Maria. Take a look at her letter and let us know what you you'd do in her shoes... Stay at home or get back on that career ladder for the sake of her sanity?

Is it wrong to go back to work?
After travelling the world with my job in marketing, I stopped work to have my son and promised to be with him for at least 18 months to give him the best start in life. But now that my husband and I have moved to a new area, I feel really isolated and realise I need something more in my life. But would I be letting my son down if I returned to work before I'd planned to?
Maria, 36, Loughborough
