Could Britain’s Got Talent BE any more dramatic?

01 June 2009

As if Saturday night's final wasn't nail-biting enough, the action behind the scenes was the real big news of the weekend. Despite being offered a record deal, a US tour and a package worth £8million regardless of whether she won or lost, poor Su-Bo was totally unprepared for coming second to dance troupe Diversity. While the boys backflipped in celebration, Susan burst into tears shouting, ‘I hate this show', swore furiously and threw water over the floor manager who tried to comfort her. She's now being looked after in The Priory, where we hope she's getting lots of rest. Diversity frontman Ashley Banjo said, ‘Susan's been getting a hard time and was under a lot of pressure to win. She's such a nice lady behind stage, so she's going to have a great career and do well anywhere.' Aah. That makes us love him a little bit more.

Now, for a few more things:

- Can we please discuss Amanda Holden's red Jessica Rabbit frock? Terrifying.

- Diversity: hell, can they dance, but how cute is 13-year-old Perri's afro?

- Julian Smith, the sax player who came third: who voted him that far?
