The Friday Fashion Playlist, Parisian style…

13 March 2009

We're not sure about you, but we have to admit we're feeling a little bit shell-shocked at the fact Fashion Week Month is now officially over. So shell-shocked, in fact, that we've decided to relive the glory days with an homage to the Paris shows, with a selection of the best songs we've heard over the past week. Here goes...

You Don't Know My Name - Alicia Keys
It was played at the Christian Dior show, and it still brings tears to our eyes...

Hey Mickey - Lolly
Did we mention how much we loved the Jeremy Scott show?

Gaité Parisienne - Offenbach
For the classical music lovers among you, this was the soundtrack to the Vuitton show.

Love - Joss Stone
Ok, so it wasn't played at any of the shows, but it's one of the best songs like, ever, and it still makes us think of that Keira Knightley Chanel ad...

Ben - Jackson 5
In honour of McQueen, whose models did their final walk to Jackson 5's Ben, and of all you lucky people who got MJ tickets. Grrr...

Standing In The Way Of Control - The Gossip
Er hello, if Beth Ditto's good enough for Fendi, she's good enough for us...

Long and Winding Road - Paul McCartney
No prizes for guessing which show this was played at.
