Would you ever ‘settle’?

sex and the city

You're 32, you're with a handsome, funny, loving man who wants kids as much as you do, he proposes… and you get a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. It's the million-dollar question: do you play it safe and stick with Mr Almost Right, or do you roll the dice and play the dating game again? In this week's Grazia, Eleanor Moran lifts the lid on what happened when she dumped her ’perfect‘ fiancé at 32 – only for him to father another woman‘s baby in record time.

Eleanor argues that we all owe it to ourselves to keep rolling until we hit the jackpot, but plenty of women around the Grazia office don't agree. 'After a certain age, you have to realise that Robert Pattinson isn't going to come knocking on your door, and make do with what you've got,' said one staffer, while another confessed that she'd 'rather settle for an 8/10 guy than miss out on being a mum'.

What do you think? Can Mr Almost Right ever be enough?
