The Newsweek website isn't where we'd normally go in search of our mid-morning humour fix, but their new weekly spoof of MTV's The City (The Hills spin-off and shameless Whitney Port vehicle,) is the funniest thing we've seen since Tina Fey's Sarah Palin SNL skits. We're still arguing over the best bit. Is it when Barack describes the White House as his 'totally amazing new house'? Is it when he introduces us to Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton with, 'We used to be frenemies when we were all running for the democratic nomination. Now they're totally on Team Barack.' Or when he chirps, 'My inauguration rocked'?
If dull old current affairs always got the MTV treatment, we'd be, like, waaaaaay more interested in politics. We can't wait for the next episode... [Huffington Post]
