Golden Globes: what you might have missed...

default

Ok. So you've rated the dresses a gazillion times and YouTubed Kate Winslet's speech galore, but your Golden Globes obsession is still not sated. Well, relax people - we've gathered (sorry, Kate, we couldn't resist) the best of the behind-the-scenes gossip from the awards show.

All the singing and sun seems to have gone to Mamma Mia star Meryl Streep's head: as rival Sally Hawkins stepped up to collect the award for best comedy actress, Streep supposedly stopped the star in her tracks by sinisterly asking ‘Are you happy now?' Very Miranda Priestley, Meryl...

Young Hollywood star Amandy Bynes got ready for the Globes this year in 20 minutes and did her make-up in the car. Why? ‘It was my grandma's 90th birthday'. Bless.

The Blake Lively backlash begins. Apparently the young star refuses to wear anything other than a size zero gown, meaning the Gossip Girl costume department have to cut labels out of any larger-size samples. And perhaps explaining her snug Nina Ricci gown?

Calvin Klein won the Globes Design House Olympics. Dustin Hoffman, Dev Patel, Michael Hall, Blair Underwood, Denis Leary, Ricky Gervais and Kevin Bacon all wore the classic American brand. Joint runners-up were Oscar de la Renta and Armani.

Despite the thousands of VIP A-list bashes that took place after the awards ceremony, no one seemed to be in the mood to party. It was the Instyle/Warner Bros do at the Beverley Hilton that attracted the likes of Kate Winslet, Heidi Klum and Leonardo DiCaprio, but even then it was Leo who stayed the longest - a whopping 30 minutes. Come on, people...

Brangelina weren't in the mood to chat - well to American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest anyway. When he tried to ask them a few questions, they turned their backs and walked away. Maybe Brad just didn't see him in those sunglasses...
