That each Hollywood starlet's fame had risen in proportion to their size diminishing. And now Oprah, arguably the most famous woman in America, has come out to speak about her ‘embarrassing' weight gain. ‘How did I let this happen again?' the headline of her article - revealing she's gained 40 pounds in the last four years to reach 200 pounds in total - screamed. But hold on, if Oprah's a megastar surely she doesn't need to fear some sort of podgy obscurity. We can't help but think she's missing a golden opportunity to prove to America that gaining a few pounds doesn't make a woman a failure with a capital F. Right?
