Can a man have an affair and still truly love his wife?

default

When we asked whether Tana Ramsay should stand by Gordon in the light of allegations he'd cheated on her, you seemed to be resounding sympathetic towards her. So we can only imagine what you'll make of this week's issue of Grazia where a married man talks candidly about how cheating on his wife doesn't mean he doesn't love her. It felt like a rite of passage. It made me more imaginative in bed with my wife. It's actually helped our marriage survive 15 years. And I was to discover my wife was having an affair too I would honestly be delighted for her. Those are some of his views - or justifications, depending on which way you look at it. And it's left us in a real debate in the office. Some are on his side. Others are asking why such a man would risk his ‘amazing' relationship with his ‘gorgeous' wife for a fumble in a hotel room? So tell us your opinion. Can a man have an affair and still truly love his wife?
