We’re obsessed with The Wackness!

Did anyone see The Wackness this weekend? If so, we need to talk! Back in July, we were invited to a very special champagne-fuelled preview screening of the film in London's Soho Hotel (where we sat alongside none other than Sir Ben Kingsley*), and we loved, loved, loved it. And not just because Sir Ben brought his whole family to the screening - and laughed the hardest all the way through. Now, finally, the film is out, so we can openly share our obsession! First, Mary-Kate Olsen. We've long had a style crush on the actress, and her cameo in The Wackness only compounds things. She plays a ditsy hippie who gets high and snogs a therapist 30 years her senior (that's Sir Ben again), and we love her for it. Ms Olsen aside, the whole film is fab - with a fantastic soundtrack that completely transports you to 90s New York, without being cheesy or nostalgic. Oh, and Olivia Thirlby (best known as Juno's sidekick) is excellent too - as cool, funny and feisty as we wish we'd been at 18. So, if you saw it, what did you think? Share in our obsession...
