Meet Room author Emma Donoghue at Grazia Book Club

08 November 2010

Emma Donoghue’s novel Room has been one of the most-talked about books of the year. Loosely based on the Josef Fritzl case, it’s a story of a mother and her 5-year-old son kept in captivity but told from the perspective of the young boy who doesn’t realize he’s imprisoned. Already a bestseller and shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, it’s made Emma Donoghue one of the most interesting authors of 2010. So we’re delighted she’s joining us at the next Grazia Book Club on 11 November 2010 at Waterstone’s Nottingham, 1/5 Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham, NG1 2GR. Tickets cost £3 and are redeemable against the book on the night. To book call 01159 484499. And if you can’t make it, check back here next week for our review of the event.
