Many a star has been there - a misjudged comment on the record fast becomes a social media storm. And this week Rebel Wilson is the one in the firing line after dubbing the Kardashians "a bit superficial" on an Australian talk show. And after all, she's entitled to her opinion.

But after the comments went viral she's ready to put the idea of any riff with the family to bed. Via Twitter she explained how "over" the resulting drama of her comments and that she's even sent the Kardashian Klan some 'I'm really sorry I spoke out of turn' flowers.

However, it gets a little more confusing, as Rebel had accused the family's publicist of overblowing the comments a few minutes before and said she'd be happy to debate on them again. So perhaps her beef is with the publicist now, not the Kardashians themselves, or perhaps she's just not really over this at all?

A lot of people are fed up of the Konstant Kardashian Koverage at the moment. Remember that news anchor that lost his sh** over it all on a local news programme? And when Amy Schumer did a sketch taking the famous family down? Well now Rebel Wilson has got pretty real about why she doesn't really have time for the Kardashians.

Rebel appeared on Kiss FM's Kyle and Jackie O show, and said they stand for different things. "I know they’re super popular, but I am all about personality and working hard to get where I am. I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard,” she said.

The Pitch Perfect actress also revealed that she was asked to present an award with Kylie and Kendall Jenner at the VMAs but turned down the offer: “I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the recent VMAs and said ‘no’."

But before you assume there's a beef between her and the family, Rebel added, "It’s not that you hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for.”

The comments come after Nick Grimshaw hit out at Kim Kardashian for having "nothing to say." He told the Radio Times. "She's got nothing to say, no opinions on anything. I'd hate teenagers to think that's the way to be happy because it's not – it's fake".
