‘Ocean’s Eleven’ To Be Remade With All Female Cast

Ocean's Eleven is the latest franchise to have a gender-swapping remake. That's right it's doing a Ghostbusters and coming back to our screens with an all-female cast.

So who is lined up for Ocean's... Fourteen? Sandra Bullock is going to play Danny Ocean, which was played by George Clooney in 2001 remake. The director is Gary Ross, who directed the Hunger Games franchise so we're hoping this means he can sweet talk Jennifer Lawrence into joining the cast.

George Clooney is one of the producers, who has previously said that he would like to see more leading roles re-written for women. The film Our Band Is Crisis ,which Clooney was produced, was written for a male lead, but Sandra Bullock was cast after she showed an interest.

George said: "Sandy called and said she wanted to do the role, [which] was originally developed for a man. And once we realized that you could change it really easily, it made you realize that there are an awful lot of women’s roles that could be out there if people just started thinking in this way. it made you realize that there are an awful lot of women’s roles that could be out there if people just started thinking in this way.”
