Lady Gaga is living every 5 year old's dream - she got a pony for Christmas. (No word yet if it was accompanied by kilos of sweets, a Polly Pocket and an iPad). It might be a cliche to want a pony, but hey, they're noble, gentle animals, and horse-riding is one hell of a workout.
The pony was a gift from Gaga's record label, which begs the question, why hasn't our boss bought us a puppy for Christmas? Or done a supermarket sweep in Tiffany's? Not fair. We're guessing GaGa's fiancee is seriously feeling the pressure to step up his gift now, too.
Gaga has yet to name the beauty, but bearing in mind she has a dog named Asia, we reckon Australia's not a bad guess. Or something off beat like Marcel. Either way, it won't be Marmalade.
Lady G said of the gift on Instagram, "Today on my doorstep was delivered a White Angel from heaven. It felt like the old days of the record business, she's such a spiritual girl! A heartfelt thank you to John Janick and Steve Berman, the whole Interscope family. I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised! (sic)"
She's since posted more snaps of her on her pony, saying "I feel like I've known her my whole life she wants to show me things (sic)."
