Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's impending divorce seems to be already settled. A source tells TMZ that the couple have reached a decision regarding the ending of their thirteen years of marriage - and it could be signed off by the end of the year.

The couple will have joint custody of their children - Kingston, Zuma, and Apolllo - but Gavin will look after the children more given Gwen's work commitments and touring schedule.

The source reveals that Gavin has agreed to take less than his 50% share of the couple's assets, despite California law saying that either party are entitled to half. Unusually for Hollywood, the pair didn't have a prenup.

Gwen filed for divorce in August after 13 years of marriage - citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Last week, Gwen debuted single Used To Love You - which many have said is a commentary on her marriage ending. The lyrics include: Yeah, boy / Thought this would happen / I let it sink in / You're gone," and "I don't know why I cry / But I think it's 'cause I remembered for the first time / Since I hated you / That I used to love you.

Two months after announcing her split from husband Gavin Rossalde, Gwen Stefani has debuted an emotional new track, which may or may not recount her feelings about her ex.

She sung the ballad, called 'Used to Love You*'*, at the MasterCard Priceless Surprises concert in New York this weekend, saying: "I just want to share a song that I wrote recently. This song is really special. I think this is gonna be the new single."

The lyrics include: Yeah, boy / Thought this would happen / I let it sink in / You're gone," and "I don't know why I cry / But I think it's 'cause I remembered for the first time / Since I hated you / That I used to love you.

Gwen is no stranger to a break-up anthem - 'Don't Speak', which was written about her bassist ex Tony Kanal, is one of her biggest hits to date.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have announced plans to divorce after 13 years of marriage.

The couple confirmed the news in a statement, reading: "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. "To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."

Gwen, 45, and Gavin, 49, married in 2002 and would have celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary next month.

Just last month in an interview with Cosmopolitan Gwen gushed about Gavin, saying he was "quite handsome," but "It's not the most important thing about him, but it is nice... and he makes really cute babies!" And talking about making their marriage work, she explained "We go through so much together - it's a miracle that we could stay together this long."
