Cat Deeley announced she was pregnant with her first child with husband Patrick Kielty earlier this month - and she fully showed off her baby bump on the red carpet for the first time at the Emmy Awards last night.

Wearing a dazzling sequin gown, Cat walked the red carpet with Patrick and told* E!* host Giulina Rancic she doesn't know the sex of the baby yet:

"We don't know yet - but I think we will find out," she said.

"I think it will be really nice to know if it's a little girl or a little boy."

Cat also revealed she had to make some last-minute adjustments to her dress to cater for her baby bump:

"I have managed to squeeze myself into this gown. We had to let out the back a bit though".

And as for cravings, Cat said she didn't have any yet: "No, I'm all actually fine. Not too bad at all."

It's been a big week for baby news! First Tom Hardy and his wife announced they were expecting, and now Cat Deeley and her husband Patrick Kielty have revealed that they are also having a baby.

The couple, who married in Rome in 2012, announced the news on social media.

"Exciting news.... Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring..... Lucky us" Cat tweeted.

The pair met on BBC show Fame Academy in 2002, and were friends for 10 years before getting together in 2012. They married six months later.

When the pair got together, Patrick explained why it took them so long to become more than friends.

"There was always a little bit of a spark between us but either she was with someone or I was with someone and by the time we were both single she was in America. I was always one of those things that never worked out."

Patrick has previously joked about what would happen if the couple had children. "I hope any child we might have has Cat's looks and my accent. With our two strong accents, we basically needed subtitles or a UN translator."

Aw, congrats you guys!
