It was a love that blossomed from The X Factor. The pop stars and contestants, both aged 22, got engaged in 2013 for two years before sadly splitting in the summer of 2015.

After a 10 year marriage, the couple sadly filed for a divorce. Paltrow, 42, and Martin, 38 have two children and had tried to salvage their relationship for a year, but decided to separate in a "conscious uncoupling". Their amicable divorce settlement meant that they equally split their £120 million fortune, and share joint custody of their two children, Apple 10, and Moses, eight.

The couple confirmed their split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The tabloids were rife with rumours that Ben was having an affair with an ex-nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

Sienna and Tom got engaged in January 2012, not long after after she became pregnant with their three-year-old daughter Marlowe Ottoline Layng. But this summer the couple have been plagued with split rumours. A source commented: "Tom and Sienna split a few weeks ago but still love and respect each other as friends and parents. It's a very amicable break-up and they intend to remain great friends."

After two years of dating,  the couple decided to end their relationship to focus on their careers, according to E! A rep for Hadid said: "Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," the rep said. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

This star reality TV couple reportedly ended their nine-year relationship after Kourtney decided to put their three children first, after years of troubles with drugs and partying for Disick.  The final straw for Kourtney was Disick's  stint in rehab earlier this year, according to reports.

They had planned to walk down the aisle later this year however, after a year and a half together, Oscar Award winning Charlize Theron, 39, reportedly called off the engagement with Sean Penn, 54. She reportedly "ghosted" the actor - refusing to reply to his messages.

Bradley and Suki met in 2013 at the Elle style awards and started dating shortly after. But the pair split in January, but remained  friends and even went to the Oscars togther in February

The comedian and model began dating in September 2009 and married a year later at London's Claridge's Hotel. After three years their son Alfred was born. But in March this year, the couple decided to seperate and are reportedly set to file for divorce.

Olivia Culpo and Nick Jonas split in June this year. A rep told E! News: "This has been a sensitive matter and both of them still love and care about each other and only want the best for one another...The long distance and ups and downs have been weighing on the two of them lately and it has not been easy but they know this is the best decision for them at this time."

After six months of being engaged, American Horror Story co-stars Emma and Evan separated. A source explained that their three year relationship simply fizzled out. The couple started dating after they met on set in 2013 in 'Adult World' the film.

These love birds called it a day after a four year relationship. According to reports. long-term girlfriend Eleanor flew over 20,000 miles to see Louis to try to salvage their relationship. The couple were continuously tested due to Louis's work commitments with One Direction. Louis confirmed weeks later that he had parted from 22 year old Eleanor.

The Nickelback singer and Avril Lavigne have officially called it quits after two years of marriage. Lavigne announced the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of her wedding day. "It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today," the caption read. "Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments.
