There are just five days to go until we take our places on the starting line at the Grazia/Nike 10k run in Victoria Park. (Yep, we know what you’re thinking – eeeeek!) So if you’re wondering what to wear, how to get there and whether you’ll be able to drop off your bag here’s a few answers. 1. What shall I do if I haven’t received my race pack?
Race packs were sent out on the 12 October, these include your running t-shirt, your wave wristband and timing chip. There will be no on the day registration so make sure you have everything to hand on the day. If you haven’t received your race pack by the today (20 October) please email Nikeemail@example.com and we’ll prepare your race pack so it’s waiting for you to collect from the race pack collection point when you arrive.
2. What time shall I arrive?
If you plan to bring a bag with you we strongly recommend that you arrive at least an hour before your allocated start time. This way you’ll have time to drop off your bag at the Athlete’s village and take part in the warm-up session ahead of your wave start.
3. How do I get there?
The Athlete’s village is situated in Victoria Park, off Grove road. The main entrance is Crown Gate East on the corner of
Use Mile End tube station (Central, District and Hammersmith and City Line) or take an overland train to Hackney Wick (Silverlink trains) which run approx ever 15 minutes. On arrival there will be marshals and signage to direct you to Victoria Park. Don’t forget to plan your route on www.tfl.gov.uk.

4. What is the exact race route?
The race is a two lap route around Victoria Park. This year’s race will have three separate waves:
Wave 1 (black) – 10.40am
Wave 2 (gold) – 11.20am
Wave 3 (white) – 12.00pm
Your race is identified by the wave number and colour of the Nike+ Human Race wristband you’ve been sent in your race pack, so make sure you wear it on race day.
5. Will there be space for supporters to watch?
Yes - do bring along your loved ones to cheer you on. They will be able to watch from several places on the course.
6. Will there be showers and changing areas?
There will be toilets, changing areas on site and safe areas to leave bags but no showers.
