VIDEO: Team Grazia hit the dance-floor with Nike

‘A dance class? Led by the body-popping Nike athlete turned Madonna choreographer? Where do we sign up?’ was Team Grazia’s reaction to the premise of Nike’s next Training Session after we did Martial Arts at the V&A! Oh, if only we knew… Because although we’d all like to think we can throw some moves around the dance floor at Bungalow 8 et al, turns out when it’s highly orchestrated street moves on the Southbank it’s a different matter. We loved the warm-up – yes, even the squats – but we must confess our dance moves became slightly more chaotic as the hour wore on. (What’s with that whole practice makes perfect, eh?!) Still, with the instructors words ringing in our ears that dance was great for perfecting balance and strengthening our core – key for any exercise we want to tackle next – we persevered. An hour down, our arms were aching but we’d learnt how to perfect that hip hop wiggle in our hips. Nice one!
