Trend Tuesday: Get Healthy And Happy With Spring’s Coolest Sports Gear

In this week’s new body happy issue, we beauty girls investigate the brand new Happy Body revolution, whereby some of the world’s biggest stars, from Kim Kardashian to Lady Gaga, are turning their backs on try-hard diet regimes in favour of a more ‘intelligent’ body shape.

These celebs, and others like Girls star Lena Dunham and Hunger Games’ Jennifer Lawrence, are instead aiming for happy and healthy rather than hungry and well, h-angry. Now it’s all about being fit, toned and strong rather than skinny – sounds pretty good to us!

In celebration of saying 'goodbye skinny, hello strong', Grazia Daily has rounded up our favourite new sporty items to get us in the mood for a workout this week. Get involved by clicking through the gallery below >>

Clean and Lean Warrior: Your Blueprint For a Strong Lean Body by James Duigan, [a target="_blank" href="">£12.99 [/a]

Not one but two members of Grazia team beauty workout at Bodyism gym in Knightsbridge, so we are pretty over-excited by the arrival of latest book from the gym’s founder James Duigan.  Written especially for guys it reveals exactly how the men in your life can transform their paunch to six-pack fast.  After selling out 24 hours after launching on Amazon 24, it has now (luckily) been restocked.  Want in? Of course you do…

Lucas Hugh Lexington City Print Leggings, [a target="_blank" href="">£225[/a]

We suffered mega legging-envy when we met a friend for a workout and she was sporting these bad boys.  Not only do they look the bomb, the surf inspired waist and hip panel also offers optimum support and an elongated silhouette. Lovely!

Hey Jo Cassini Leggings in Liquorice, [a target="_blank" href="">£91[/a]

We’re head over heels with these luxe leggings from uber-cool London brand Hey Jo.  Made from the finest Italian jersey in the chicest colours, they also boast the benefit of high performance breathability and shape resistance too. Don’t tell a soul but so fabulous and chic are these beauties, that their wearers have been known to throw on a jumper after the gym and keep them on all day.

adidas by Stella McCartney Run Shorts in Orange, £54 and Yellow, [a target="_blank" href=",en_GB,sc.html">£52 [/a]

There’s nothing like a chic new pair of shorts to persuade you to get out on a run.  We have added these uber cheery versions from Stella McCartney to our spring workout wardrobe.

Sweaty Betty Avro Avian Snood, [a target="_blank" href="">£59 [/a]

If snow sports are you thing, get involved with this deliciously soft and scrumptious fleece-lined snood which will keep you snuggly until the next vin chaud…

Nike Free Run 2 Trainers, [a target="_blank" href=",pdp,ctr-inline/cid-300/pid-675604/pgid-638374">£80 [/a]

We wouldn’t be without our Nike Free Run Trainers and this new and updated 2nd generation version gets even better. Designed to let your feet move more freely and naturally for a more effective workout, they are also deliciously light and well, we need all the help we can get!
