The Products You Need To Buy This Weekend Picked By Our Beauty Team And Bloggers

GALLERY>> This Weekend's Top Beauty Treats

As September comes to a close and autumn looms it’s easy to feel discouraged. A treat or two is our favourite quick fix and there’s no better time for treats than the weekend. Here’s what we’re indulging in this week, we hope that you’ll join us..enjoy!

By Faye White

Little Miracles, £1.69 each

For those moments when plain old H20 just won't cut it, grab one of these pretty little bottles and we reckon you'll be pretty chuffed- free from artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners and at less than 90 calories a pop, this is one super healthy quencher! We love.

Chanel Illuminating Powder, £46

Ok, we feel it too. How can you resist that beautiful embossing? But aesthetics aside, this Chanel highlighting powder will make you appear bright and awake. Dust a little across the top of your cheekbones for an enchanting glow that catches the light. We love a multipurpose product; apply a little with your finger to the inner corners of your eyes and under the arch of your eyebrows, team with curled lashes and lots of mascara to make your eyes appear more open and a focal point of your look.

Clarins Crayon Khôl in Taupe, £17

'Clarins have released some gorgeous new products for AW13, and this pigment-rich Crayon Khôl in Taupe is beautiful on the eye. I like to apply quite heavily and use the natural hair brush to blend slightly, it creates a great smouldering effect without being too harsh.'

Laura Mercier, Foundation Primer in Radiance, £25.20

'Everyone knows Laura Mercier's primers are king. Once you've made a product that is notoriously the best, it must be hard to think of what to do better. Laura Mercier makes it easy to keep us buying, with her Radiance Primer. It's definitely slightly tinted, so don't do what I did when I first tried and squeeze out masses, because you may end up looking like a gilded statue. All of that aside, the Radiance has fast become my number one. It gives you a glow before you've put foundation on, and like all of her primers gives you a full day's hold, but this one manages to keep you looking trulyly radiant. As winter takes hold, what more could we want.'

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara, £4.99

'I can't fault the new Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara - combs brows, keeps unruly hairs in place and adds a hint of tint to amp up colour. All in one swipe!'

Penhaligon’s London Iris Prima Eau De Parfum, £120

What little girl didn’t dream of being a ballerina? With this Penhaligon’s fragrance you can feel like one – or smell like one! Created by perfumer Alberto Morillas , who was inspired by observing the English National Ballet, this fragrance encapsulates grace and poise. A heart note of jasmine gives the fragrance a fresh feeling, whereas top notes including zesty bergamot and base notes of leather and sandalwood counteract the cleaner notes with depth and mystery. Long lasting on the skin, this fragrance is perfect for if you’re getting your dancing shoes on this weekend or going on a dinner date with that special someone.

REN skincare's new No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm, £23

'This new cleansing balm from REN is a dreamy cocktail of rose oil and Shea butter to give your skin a heavenly, yet effective, cleansing experience. The luxuriously-silky balm smoothes beautifully onto the skin and melts away every last scrap of stubborn mascara and show-stopping lipstick, leaving your skin impeccably clean and hydrated. And the best thing about this cleanser is there is no need for a flannel or muslin cloth either so is perfect for a quick skincare step!'

Carol’s Daughter Chocolat Smoothing Sulfate Free Shampoo, £13.95

Chocolate is the ultimate indulgence and with this shampoo its sin free! Treat your hair this weekend with this smoothing, chocolate scented product which promises to ‘rebuild your hair’ to its natural, healthy quality. Boasting to contain no sulphates, parabens or mineral oils and with a thermal protectant built in, prepping your hair for any heat aided style, this product is definitely in our showers.

Nourish Golden Glow Toning Soufflé, £24.95

We all love a product that’s good and good for you. This Nourish Soufflé contains 77% organic ingredients and promises to leave your skin feeling ‘ultra smooth’. As the autumnal evenings start to draw in (sigh) we are beginning to cast off our light, summery scents for something deeper and nothing says the cold is coming better than frankincense and myrrh. Leaving an iridescent golden glow behind, this moisturiser looks lovely down the arms, legs and across the décolletage with a skin perfecting sheen.

Trilogy, Rosapene Night Cream, £28.50

'I once read that your skin regenerates itself between midnight and 2am, which really makes the case for using a night cream. Trilogy's Rosapene night cream is one of my favourites. It comes in a frosted glass jar, giving it that apothecary feel, but it's what's on the inside that will get any lover of skin-healing oils going. The ingredients pack a powerful punch, with rosehip, marula, acai, sweet almond and avocado oils, blended with cocoa seed butter, aloe vera leaf extract and goji berries. It's a cream with a consistency of substance, but isn't cloggingly thick. If your skin could ask you for one thing at night, this would be it.'

Umberto Giannini Talons in Neon Dip Dye, £8.50

Why sit around watching paint dry? Hair hero Umberto Giannini is now doing nails! Perfect for an impromptu night out on the town, these bright artificial nails channel two major trends, neon and ombre.  With no nail varnish required your nail art will be looking pristine and consistent, and is a sure way to brighten up a dull outfit.
