GALLERY>>This Weekend's Top Beauty Buys

We’ve had all the weather you can imagine this week, so you can be excused for being a tad all over the place in the beauty department. Never fear though, as ever we are on hand to guide you in your weekend spends. Here are our pick of the beauty buys that should definitely be on your radar this weekend!

By Terry, Crayon Kohl Terrybly, Royal Navy, £22

'I've had more compliments wearing this eyeliner than any other piece of make-up, ever. Terry's blue eyeliner is so soft that it literally glides on; I've never experienced anything like it. The bright blue looks amazing on darker or olive skin tones and means you really don't need anything else, even mascara. The only problem is that at £22, I'm actually going to cry when it runs out.'

Clarins After Sun Moisturizer Self-Tanning, £19.00

If you were taken unawares by yesterday’s scorcher of a day, you  are likely to be in need of this little wonder! Not only does it hydrate and moisturise skin, absolute necessities after exposure to the sun, but it also works to intensify a tan. Win, win! Just remember you don’t have to see the blushed evidence of burning before you turn to the after sun. If the sun is out skin will become dry and dehydrated, and this is the ultimate antidote!

Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric Second Skin Blush, £29.00

When it’s been as hot as it has recently, a full face of makeup is a no no. Go with as little coverage as possible and steer clear of heavy powders. Instead of reaching for the blusher brush opt for a light stain such as Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric Second Skin Blush which is sure to last all day, not matter how…ahem…dewy you get.

Evo hair spray, £12.25

'I'm loving Evo's hair spray. I recently discovered it during a bad hair day and thought it was brilliant. It;s perfect and lightweight and keeps my hair in place for hours.'

bareMinerals' Marvelous Moxie lipstick, £16

'bareMinerals' Marvelous Moxie range of lippies is something to shout about - they're creamy, super pigmented, glide on effortlessly and the colour lasts without flaking.  I love Call The Shots, blood red and one that's stopped a few people in their tracks whenever I wear it!'

Lola’s Apothecary Lavender & Cammomile Bath Oil, £18.00

Not only does this dinky little bottle look chabby-chic-divine in the bathroom, but it smells darned good too! Whether you’re dunking yourself in a cool bath to refresh yourself this weekend, or snuggling into a warm bath to the tune of thunderstorms outside, make sure to add this new bath oil to your routine.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Cheek Rush from the Cello Shots collection, £24

'Lightweight and long-lasting with an incredibly unique gel-like formula, these new blushers from Estee Lauder bridge the gap between your cream and liquid cheek products and gives you a gorgeous, dewy glow. There will be a shade to suit everyone from baby pink to daring red and the buildable consistency means you can keep it as subtle or vibrant as you like! Such a great product for a lighter, fresher summer look.'

Art Deco Bronzing Powder Compact with SPF15, £25

'This bronzer is my holiday essential. It's water-repellant with added SPF15, perfect for poolside glamour. This over-sized powder compact adds a gorgeous natural-looking glow to the body and face.'

Topshop Bronzing Illuminator in Reflect, £12.50

Weekend time means party time! Whether it’s an oh-so-sociable soiree at a friend’s, a beer garden get together or a girly night out. If you’re dying to change your look for the evening, simply sweep this illuminator lightly across the tops of cheekbones and dab a little in the corner of your eye to keep yourself the radiant side of dewy this weekend.

Tresemme Oil Elixir, £9.99

We all know our hair is the first to show the wear and tear of our holidays. Sun, sea and air conditioning do not a luscious barnet make! But never fear. Tresemme have come tour aid yet again with their new Oil Elixir which contains Macadamia Oil and Grapeseed Oil as well as a UV filter to at once nourish and protect hair from the sun and environmental damage.

Trilogy Age Proof Line Smoothing Day Cream, £30.50

As long as you’re upping your sun protection factor this summer, then you can lie back in the sure and certain knowledge that you are doing your best to stave off the aging process. But if you have already spotted some little pesky lines coming through (that it is likely no one has noticed but yourself!) turn to Trilogy’s latest day cream to smooth and blur them away. You’ll be beaming back at your reflection in no time!

Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadows, £15

'Until I came across Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadows I was completely against glitter pigments, I couldn't stand the way they flake, didn't adhere well onto the skin and how hard they were to apply. These shadows completely defy that theory making glitter wearable, sophisticated and easy to use! My favourite shade is this bronzey-taupe, Diamond Dog.'
