The Beauty Products To Buy This Weekend As Picked By Our Beauty Team And Bloggers

30 January 2014 by

Chelsea Beautique Chelsea Lashes, £18

With Dry January finally at its barren end, we’re celebrating our return to civilisation this weekend by going all-out with a pair of flirty false eyelashes. Chelsea Beautique’s [a target="_blank" href="">lashes[/a] are hand-made with 100% (cruelty free) Siberian mink hair, making them more flexible and natural-looking than the synthetic type. Simply glue on and flutter your way to a V-Day date.

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask, £13.33

Jamila from [a target="_blank" href="">Blush[/a] explains why this mask is her top pick this week: 'Hyaluronic acid has been declared the fountain of youth. It has been a revelation to the beauty industry and is pretty much skin's answer to Argan oil or keratin. Indeed Laboratories benefit from labs in Switzerland, France, Spain and the US, in which the most innovative of ingredients are tested. Indeed's latest range 'hydraluron' focuses on quenching thirsty skin and restoring elasticity. The [a target="_blank" href="">moisture boosting mask[/a] comes soaked in hyaluronic goodness, and is actually a mask which you put on, press down and let get to work. Unlike many other masks, your skin isn't left feeling tight or uncomfortable and it's the perfect thing to wear whilst you're in the bath or having a nap. Sadly I'm halfway through my packet of four, but I will def be buying more of this quirky and effective product.'

Clinique Kiss It Better Collection

For the 10th anniversary of the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Kiss It Better appeal, [a target="_blank" href="">Clinique[/a] have teamed up with [a target="_blank" href="">House of Fraser[/a] and Lulu Guinness to raise money for children with cancer. The Kiss It Better collection includes a limited-edition hot pink nail polish (£12, with 50% going to the charity), and an iconic fuchsia Lulu Guinness lips coin purse containing one of Clinique’s super moisturising Chubby Stick lip balms (£55, 100% of which is donated). The special collection is available exclusively at House of Fraser and [a target="_blank" href="">[/a] throughout February. House of Fraser will also donate £2 from every Clinique lipstick sold in February to the Kiss It Better appeal.

Clarins Extra Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream, £25

Clarins’ new cleansing cream is this week’s pick from Jill from [a target="_blank" href="">Pout Out Proud[/a], who explains: 'This [a target="_blank" href=",en_GB,pd.html">cleansing cream[/a] is the perfect pick me up for dull, tired January skin. It rids the skin of traces of pollution, while nourishing and hydrating for a super soft finish'.

Nip & Fab Hyaluronic Fix Body Gel, £7.99

At some point over the next few months we hope, hope, that we’ll be unpeeling one thermal layer and flashing the teensiest bit of flesh, so it’s time to put in some moisturising ground work. Nip & Fab’s [a target="_blank" href="">body gel[/a] contains a hydrating cocktail of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, vitamin E and aloe vera to plump and soften our somewhat neglected skin.

Laura Mercier Primer in Radiance Bronze, £29

Amelia from [a target="_blank" href="">Liana Beauty[/a] chose this [a target="_blank" href="">primer[/a]: ‘It's the perfect winter must-have. Not only does it provide a beautiful base for foundation it also prolongs makeup longevity and leaves lacklustre skin with an uplifted glow’.

O&M Know Knott Conditioning Detangler, £19

Battling the elements plays havoc with our hair, so we keep a bottle of this [a target="_blank" href="">conditioning spray[/a] handy. It contains hydrating Macademia and Argan oils and works wonders at detangling our windswept post-lunch barnets. Use it dry or spritz all over wet hair for softer, shinier locks.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, £28

As chosen by Sherin from [a target="_blank" href="">Hi Fashion[/a]: 'I'm loving [a target="_blank" href="">Smashbox's Primer[/a] this week. The Photo Finish one is amazing. It's perfect at evening out my skin and gives me a flawless complexion and base for the rest of the day. There's even no need for any foundation'.

Miller Harris Fleur Fragrance Collection, £60

A new season calls for a new scent – or, even better, three. Miller Harris’ adorable collection comprises three 15ml floral Eau de Parfums: heady Noix De Tubereuse, exotic La Pluie and sensual Rose en Noir. A perfect pre-Valentines treat for yourself – it is (finally) payday weekend, after all. Available at [a target="_blank" href="">Miller Harris[/a] from February 3rd.

Tria Hair Removal Laser x4, £375

'I'm loving the [a target="_blank" href="">Tria Hair Removal Laser x4[/a] which targets permanent hair removal at home. It's cordless and super easy to use, and results are noticeable after a couple of uses. Finally here's a beauty gadget that delivers', says Sheenie from [a target="_blank" href="">Just Nice Things[/a].
