Miranda Kerr

1. The Model Packer: Miranda Kerr, Model and Founder of Kora Organics

When it comes to laid back, natural beauty on holiday, model Miranda Kerr is your girl. So what’s her travel beauty secret? “I try to keep my beauty routine as uncomplicated as possible, especially when I’m on holidays or off duty so I stick to a three step skincare routine, cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and evening using KORA Organics Foaming Cleanser, Energizing Mist and Hydrating Day & Night Cream. Then I just stick to a few makeup essentials; RMS Lip2Cheek in Modest, eyelash curlers and a great mascara and tweezers for well-groomed brows”.

There are a few other rituals Miranda adheres to when heading off on her travels. “I dry body brush every morning as it’s a great way to get the circulation going. It aids lymphatic drainage and detoxifies your system giving you smooth skin all over, great after a long-haul flight”. It’s this healthy mantra that Miranda obeys to stay looking fresh and healthy regardless of her hectic diary. “My grandmother introduced me to Noni Juice when I was twelve years old and have drunk it every day since, it contains over a hundred vitamins and minerals and it’s one of my best kept health and beauty secrets. I also have lots of health and wellness apps on my iPhone, from meditation to yoga.

“I have a few must-haves when it comes to my holiday wardrobe and because I travel so much I shop online a lot! Australian designers do swimwear really well so I love brands like Zimmerman, but I also like Lanvin and Stella McCartney bikinis, I’m obsessed with sunglasses so have several pairs of Miu Miu shades on rotation!”

Best Beauty Packing Tip: “I swap heavier make-up for KORA Organics Tinted Day Cream. It has an SPF and is lighter than foundation.”

Liz Hambleton

2. The Seasoned Packer: Liz Hambleton, Grazia’s Beauty Director

Liz is ruthless when it comes to packing. She spends a lot of time travelling and knows what she needs to get through a trip in style. She explains, “I have packing down to a fine art. Whether it’s a beach or winter holiday, my beauty routine doesn’t change too much. I wouldn’t go anywhere without Crème de la Mer’s The Reparative Face Sun Lotion SPF30, £85. It’s like a luxury skin treatment in a sun cream.

Your holiday scent is also very important: this summer I’m spritzing Atelier Cologne’s Mistral Patchouli, £95 like crazy. If you’re wearing a fabulous scent, you can get away with not much else. “I can’t bear chipped nails, so when Dior launched Nail Glow, £18.50, it was a dream come true! It boosts your natural nail, whatever the condition, and the gel-like polish works with a tan too.”

“I’m a real oil fanatic- using it after being in the sun is the best way to prolong a tan. I love REN’s Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra-Moisture Body Oil, £34, all over, even in my hair if it’s drying out because of the pool.”

“Must-haves include Olay Regenerist CC Cream SPF15. It’s light, anti-ageing and has a built in SPF- great for travelling. Bobbi Brown’s Tube Tint in Pink Cloud, £16, is perfect with a golden tan. Paul & Joe Cheek Colour in 07, £18.50, gives just the right holiday glow.”

Best Beauty Packing Tip: “Pack light! I scale down everything.”

Poppy Delevingne

3. Holiday Brights: Poppy Delevingne, Model

When it comes to holidays, Poppy has her packing all sewn up. Her secret? “I’m pretty laid-back; I tend to chuck things into a bag and hope I’ve remembered my toothbrush and Sisley Sunscreen SPF30!” If that’s all it takes too look as gorgeous as Poppy on holiday, we’ll all be laughing by the time we hit the check-in desks! On further investigation, though, it’s Poppy’s love of make-up and wardrobe brights that make her a savvy packer.

“Bright colours are guaranteed to get me in the mood for sunshine and wildness, plus they accentuate my tan. When I’m on holiday I love having fresh, dewy skin- it works wherever you are in the world. I use Chanel’s Vitalumiere Foundation and what I call my “eight hours of sleep in a jar”, aka Guerlain Midnight Secret, £69, for a flawless skin finish.”

Poppy’s nails are quite often the canvas for her bright colour obsession. “I take buckets of Nails Inc’s Queen Victoria Street- it’s the must-have colour for sunshine-happy hands. To make sure it lasts, I use Nails Inc Vitamin E Cuticle Pen, £12, and Kensington Caviar 45 Second Top Coat, £12- it makes the colour last for days.” It’s not just the nails that get the bright treatment; Poppy won’t holiday without Tom Ford Lip Colour Shine in Ravenous: “It is lip-smackingly good.”

Best Beauty Packing Tip: “Pack some Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse, £34. This is the best holiday multi-purpose product. It’s great at making legs appear long and slender, especially if you apply it to the front of your legs. And I never forget my Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin Shampoo and Conditioner. They keep my hair looking and feeling healthy, even if I don’t.”

Aerin Lauder

4. Apres Beach Essentials: Aerin Lauder, Founder of Beauty and Lifestyle Brand Aerin

Aerin Lauder has mastered the art of beauty come sunset. The summer collection for her beauty range Aerin is packed full of golden and bronze shades- perfect for showing off a tan post-lounger. The products will upgrade your glow to tropical sun standards, even if your skin has been in hibernation. And if there was only one product Aerin could travel with, she would pack her beloved bronzer. “It’s the quickest way to look healthy and awake.

“I use the Aerin Beauty Pretty Bronze Illuminating Powder, £34 on my décolletage and cheekbones to pick up on my tan. I finish the look with Aerin Beach Cream, £40. The subtle golden tones in it are great for legs and arms and the fragrance is a perfect holiday scent.”

Even though the golden, nude and bronze tones of her range are Aerin’s signature holiday look, she still likes to add a bit of sunset colour. Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Sailor 1, £17, is a favourite, but it comes with a warning: “Be careful! A little goes a long way.”

Best Beauty Packing Tip: “Keep things simple. I always travel with a touch of gold and white. I love white pants and gold accessories in summer.”
