03 July 2013 by

Now, we don’t want to make you jealous or anything, but when a beauty therapist comes along with supermodel looks, we reckon she must be on to something! Canadian raised, Nigma Talib is a world-renowned naturopathic doctor and is currently clinical director of holistic medicine at London’s Bowskill Clinic and Body Works West. With her flawless complexion and stunning good looks, Nigma approaches the body as a whole and helps cure symptoms by establishing underlying causes of disease rather than simply suppressing symptoms. Whether it’s digestive complaints, infertility, hormonal or skin problems, Dr Talib really is your naturopathic number-one!

We just love Nigma’s fresh approach to beauty and were ridiculously excited to delve deep into her make-up bag to discover all the products she just can’t live without. Read on a learn, ladies… Read on and learn…

Alterna Bamboo Style Texturizing Body Boost, £19.95

I like this product as it works like magic and adds volume and texture to my hair when I've been out all day in the wind and the rain; it is an instant hair boost.

Burts Bees lip balm, £3.69

I love this formula, it not only soothes my lips and prevents them from feeling dehydrated, I love the refreshing tingle on every application

Avene Eau Thermal Spring water, £6.50

I use this product after I exercise and when I have been traveling. It helps soothe and refresh my skin. It is like a spa in a bottle!

SkinCeuticals Brightening UV Defense SPF30, £35

I love the consistency and the dewy look this product gives me while being light at the same time. In addition to the benefits of the spf 30 protection, the best part is that this isn't just sunscreen, but has a corrective quality that will reduce current pigementation and prevent future pigmentation. This is particularly important as my skin can pigment quite easily due to UVA/UVB rays. Just because the sun isn't out, doesn't mean I still can't have pigmentation issues from the UVA and UVB rays.

SIMILASE, £34.20

I carry my plant based digestive enzymes to support my digestion. I take one capsule at meal time and it helps me break down my food better and allow me to have optimal absorption of nutrients from my food. I take double the dose of the enzyme if I am eating foods on the run that contain ingredients I cannot tolerate well.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze, £32

I use this Shimmer Brick Compact on top of my blush- it gives me a bronzy glow.

Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush, £33

This is the best blusher type brush I've used. Gives really even coverage and easy and quick to use.

Yardley London English Lavender Hand & Nail Cream, £3.99

I have fallen in love with this hand and nail cream. I wash my hands a lot and I look forward to using my cream after each hand wash. Not only does it have natural ingredients, but it works to keep my hands looking young and moisturised and I love the lavender smell; I feel relaxed immediately!

Laura Mercier Secret Concealer, £18.50

This has become an essential for me in the daily fight against dark circles which are genetic unfortunately. I only need a little bit of the concealer as it is very creamy so it makes it easy to blend and gives me good coverage.

L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes, £10.99

I love this mascara, it gives me the thickness and the length with just one stoke

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in Bobbi, £19

I love this colour as it is a warm, rosy beige colour that gives me a natural healthy look. I like that it is creamy and glides on so nicely without making my lips dry.
