It's been a pretty HUGE year for Lorde so far. Not only has the 17-year-old bagged two Grammy Awards (including Best Song) AND a BRIT Awards, she's also just scooped a collaboration with MAC Cosmetics.

The 'Royals' singer is going to bring out her own limited edition make-up collection with the beauty giant in the summer, following in the footsteps of big names like Rihanna and Lady Gaga who've both had sell-out ranges.

She announced the project to her fans on Twitter last night. 'MAC X LORDE COMING JUNE 5TH,' she posted.

The collab seems like a great match. The beauty brand created the dramatic make-up looks for Lorde's tour and MAC's senior artist Amber Dreadon often helps the singer pick out the dramatic lip colours for her performances.

Lorde's spoken about how much she loves MAC's products, explaining how she saved up to buy her very first MAC lipstick.

'I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid,' she said. 'I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.'

There's no clues as to what products Lorde's going to bring out yet - but what can we expect from the project?

Lorde's famous for her high-fashion gothic look. She sports dark lip shades ranging from bluey purples to deep burgundys and even blacks teamed with strong brows and neutral lined eyes. MAC's the go-to brand for incredible make-up colours so we're hoping for some vampish lip shades, a liquid liner and maybe a brow pencil. Plus the singer's open about her skin worries, posting 'acne cream' selfies, so maybe there's some skincare in the works?!
