Kate Moss. The official festival fashionista? Yep, we think so! Never seen without her trusty distressed denim hot pants and Hunter wellies, we’ve been swooning over Mossy’s festival-chic for what seems like an age now. Ever since we spotted her at Glastonbury back in 1996, we reckon the supermodel has had festival style nailed. So it kinda goes without saying that we’re also huge fans of her festival make-up and beauty looks! Want to know more? Read on for Mrs Hince’s festival beauty tips…
1. Tan up
When she was shooting the St. Tropez campaign, Moss revealed that before every festival (and beach holiday), she preps with a St.Tropez tan. “It covers a multitude of sins and it means that you have always got a healthy glow."
2. Simplicity is key
“My festival look is always natural, never too much make-up.”
3. Get salty
Tousled hair and Kate Moss go together like Wimbledon and strawberries (and cream). Arm yourself with a salt spray to get that beachy look. “Bring the beach to the festival!” says Kate.
4. 'Festival' doesn't have to mean 'wellies'
“I’ll be wearing the normal little hot pants and wellingtons, but, if I can get away with a heel then I will…”
5. Stock up on multi-use products
“You can always put a bit of the lip stain on the cheek and you’re ready to go.”
6. Try ice and cucumber
“If I wake up in the morning and look tired and puffy, I fill a sink with ice and cucumber and submerge my face. It instantly tightens everything, making you feel and look instantly awake”.
So if you're heading to Glasto this weekend, take note! Arm yourself with St. Tropez's Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse, £20.43 to get a summer festival glow a la Mossy.
