Just in time for sandal-season, Team Grazia Beauty bring you the full 411 on the best pedicures in town. Whether your tootsies are suffering from a high-heel addiction, or have taken a battering from hard workouts at the gym, our pick of the pedi’s guarantees to transform even the most abused of feet, taking you from shabby to chic within the hour. It’s time to get peep-toe-proud, ladies!

Margaret Dabbs Medical Pedicure, from £80 for 45 minutes

As far as I am concerned summer just isn’t summer without one of Margaret Dabbs’ famous Medical Pedicures because this is a pedicure like no other, and therefore a must the minute sandal wearing season starts.  Feet are tended to by a team of meticulous podiatrists who shave, scrub and whittle away at your feet, whilst attending to all aspects of foot health.  The results are amazing! Just don’t be intimidated by the rather scary looking metal tools and do be sure to book in for a Rococco nail polish after your session.

Aveda Stress-Fix Pedicure, £50 for 60 minutes

I have to admit I was a little ashamed by my “Franken-feet” when I stepped inside the haven that is The Aveda Institute, although after spending the best part of an hour reclining in a deluxe massage chair while my treadmill-tattered tootsies lay soaking in Aveda’s Stress Fix Soaking Salts, I really did lose every care in the world. The treatment, which included a truly magnificent foot massage, was topped off with a signature Aveda hand ritual. When my toes awoke from their hot towel hibernation, a slick of gorgeous OPI polish guaranteed I was truly sandal-ready.

Sophy Robson Medi-Pedi, £75

No mere nail artist, Sophy Robson has a stellar reputation in the beauty industry (Tom Ford books her for all his advertising and fashion shoots) and her medi-pedi is guaranteed to transform tired feet as well as making them look great, too. Whilst this is somewhere between a pampering pedicure and a trip to the chiropodist, the fashion-focused finish to nails at the end of the treatment is totally worth it (Sophy’s bespoke nail designs can be added for extra effect), and the LED light treatment guarantees a perfect pedi that will last for up to two months. Kate Moss, Rita Ora and Lily Allen are all fans, and we reckon you will be, too.
