Blake Lively On Gucci Premiere, Festive Traditions And Christmas Gifts: EXCLUSIVE

26 November 2012 by

Blake Lively, the face of fragrance Gucci Premiere has revealed her favourite things about the festive season in a video interview and we've got the chance to show it exclusively on Grazia Daily. The Gossip Girl star wed fiancé Ryan Reynolds in September (wearing Marchesa) so this Christmas is her first as a married woman.

As the youngest of five children we reckon it gets pretty crowded in the Lively house over the holidays. Blake revealed, 'I come from a big family so I am most excited to do nothing but spend time with them. Cook, play games and come together and celebrate.'

The actress has previously admitted that she loves to cook for her loved ones so it's unsurprising that food plays an important part in her Christmas plans. She says 'So much love pours into the food and then so much love pours out of it when you're consuming it.'

And what do you buy for the woman who seemingly has everything? 'The most important gift is something that lasts. Adults don't get toys which are going to be on the floor five minutes later. Memories last - a photo album or something meaningful. A fragrance is a nice identifier and it’s a bit of a selfish gift as it's so comforting to be around someone who smells good.' But as she and her mum share the same taste in perfume she confessed 'if you were blindfolded in a room you wouldn't be able to tell us apart.' Let's hope Mr Reynolds doesn't make that mistake!

Adorably Blake's favourite ever Christmas present came from her sister who filmed her own children going to school and edited the tape for her famous sibling to watch. The star said, 'She videoed their whole day, brushing their hair, dropping them off, picking them up. I can't be there every day so that was very emotional.'
