Benefit Launch Brow Arch March In Support Of Look Good Feel Better

20 February 2014 by

Forget the likes of Movember and Decembeard- us beauty ladies are beyond excited about Benefit’s latest addition to the facial hair craze. Get ready girls, as this March sees the launch of Brow Arch March. What is it, I hear you say? Well, throughout the entire month of March, Benefit ‘Brow Bars’- located in 50 Debenhams stores across the country- will be offering complimentary brow arch services for a requested minimum donation of £5, with all proceeds going directly to cancer charity Look Good Feel Better. LGFB is the only international cancer support charity, providing practical and effective free services for women and teenagers suffering from the visible side effects of cancer treatment, making Brow Arch March the ultimate guilt-free pleasure!

Kara Tointon

What’s more, when it comes to our best facial friends, Benefit always come up trumps with their stellar range of both products and in-store services and us beauty ladies are over the moon to see that actress Kara Tointon is the spokesperson for the event. Brunette beauty Kara will also be raising awareness of the initiative by calling women of all ages to rally together and join her on a fundraising march through the streets of London on Sunday 9th March. The march will take walkers (dubbed ‘Arch Angels’- too cute!) past some of our capital’s most iconic arches including Marble Arch. The best bit? Participants are encouraged to start with minimal makeup, stopping at checkpoints en-route to receive beauty touch-ups to their lips, eyes, cheeks and of course, eyebrows, courtesy of Benefit cosmetics.

Excited? We are! What’s more, we were lucky enough to catch up with the gorgeous Kara earlier this week to talk some serious high-brow beauty. Read on and learn girls, read on and learn…

The 5 Things We Learnt About Kara Tointon

She’s always preening her eyebrows: “I always try to keep them in shape- I’ve tried threading and waxing, but if that fails, I always reach for the tweezers!”

She loves to mix up her brow look: “I am obsessed with Benefit’s Brow Zings, £23.50- it’s such an amazing kit to maintain your brows, complete with a cute little pair of tweezers. I think you can change your look with brow definition and this kit has all you need.”

Her brow icon is Brook Shields: “She had amazing eyebrows, but I also love Cara’s- she certainly brought the brow back!”

She feeds her brows from the inside out: “Beauty comes from within- I take Juice Plus (a vitamin supplement) to make sure I get all the goodness I can and also take Omega 3 and aloe vera juice.”

She has a fuss-free beauty approach: “The best tip I’ve ever learnt from a makeup artist is to never over-do anything and keep things simple- either accentuate the eye or the lip depending on the look.”
