Liz Earle Launches New Charity ‘LiveTwice’
As you well know by now, we just love a good beauty collaboration, although when it involves charity? Even better, we say! We’ve always been huge fans of natural beauty guru Liz Earle, so we were over the moon to hear that Liz has just launched ‘second-chance’ charity LiveTwice. The charity works with disadvantaged people of all ages to offer opportunities for skills training and personal support. LiveTwice also fund community centres in areas of social need, and are already providing a respite home-from-home for children with disabilities in a rural Dorset community. Liz, 49, one of the most successful beauty entrepreneurs, says, “LiveTwice already does a lot and there is a lot to do! Over the years, my research and filming travels have taken me to people and places far and wide who are in desperate need of a helping hand. LiveTwice provides just that-with a hand-up, not just a hand out.” Watch this space, ladies...

Rihanna for MAC- The Countdown Is On
We know the date is looming, kind of, but do you know how soon it really is until this much-anticipated collection hits shelves? As of today, you can start your 9-day countdown ladies, as the products will be available exclusively online as of 20th June, 12pm, at www.maccosmetics.co.uk. Our advice? Set a reminder- Rihanna’s first debut lipstick for MAC sold out in three hours when it went on sale last week. Have hope, though, as there are a few more offerings this time round. With 3 lipsticks, a bronzer-blush duo and MAC cult-favourite Lustre Drops in a Ri-Ri exclusive shade, there’s plenty to choose from.
Diptyque Fragrance Fitting: Tailor-Made Treats
In our beauty opinion, there’s no greater luxury than a bespoke fragrance, right? The epitome of luxury and exclusivity, to have a fragrance just for you is pretty amazing, really. Well, fear no more ladies, as French perfume boutique Diptyque are now offering an in-store ‘fragrance-fitting’, totally free of charge. As part of a 30-minute consultation your perfumer will talk through your tastes, from fashion to food and even music, before working with your answers to blend a scent from existing Diptyque fragrances that matches your personality. The best bit? To get your perfume prescription spot on, the consumption of chocolate covered coffee beans is essential. To clear your nasal palette, obviously…
The initial consultation is free, although prices for the bespoke fragrance start at £50
Mrs White’s Unstung Hero
The ultimate festival essential for sensitive souls, this all-natural, lemon-scented eau de cologne contains a secret ingredient that renders you invisible to mosquitoes, midges, horseflies, bees and wasps. Insect repellent sprays are so often brimming with chemicals that make them more irritating to the skin than insects themselves, so this is one beauty buy we just can’t wait to get our hands on! We love the apothecary-esque packaging, and the huge 250ml size means there’s ample cologne to spritz on bedding as well as on your bod, plus the non-oily formula means no nasty stains. Snap one up and don’t let the bugs bite, we say.
£20 for 250ml, www.roullierwhite.com
