Only earlier this week we were talking about Cara Delavingne’s luscious dark eyebrows and the fact that the Autumn Winter 2013 catwalks were havily populated by oversized brows too.  As a result it seems that a large proportion of you lovely lot have been trying to emulate the bushy brow at home.

Last week Debenhams reported that their sales of dark eyebrow pencils have increased by over 90%, while word on the beauty grape-vine is that certain cosmetic surgeons are even offering a procedure to ‘transplant’ more hairs onto your brow for those who have overplucked them in the past.  Yikes.

Sales of RapidBrow, £37 - the eyebrow enhancing serum - have seen sales increase by 28% over the six weeks since fashion week too, while no less that three members of the Grazia beauty team have taken to having their brows tinted darker on a bi-monthly basis at the incredible Blink Brow Bars.  Who’da thunk it?

Brows in Spike, Chocolate Brown, £5 - Brows in Vicious Circle, Mushroom Brown, £5

With this in mind we’re particularly excited by the news that our friends at Topshop are set to launch two new brow pencils called Spike and Viscious Circle, £5 each in April. Waxed-based, super soft and highly pigmented, these beauties are just the thing for lending your brows a bit of extra oomph.

Topshop Makeup Artist Hannah Murray added that her a/w2013 shows all demostrated a strong focus on brows. “There’s a feeling of keeping this minimal and polished, and to play on the masculine-feminine beauty that everyone loves.”

We’re sold. Are you? Take brow-spiration from the lovely Cara in the gallery below...
