Ok, we know what you’re thinking. The look from the Ashish show would look rather out of place at Tesco on a Sunday afternoon, but hear us out. The focal point of this look is the graphic liner all around the eye. To make this look more wearable, don’t extend the liner out to your temples, but go for a softer Alexa Chung-esque flick. If you find liquid liner a little tricky (as many of us do!) try the MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/151/898/Fluidline/index.tmpl">£15[/a] and apply with a MAC 266 angled brush, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/145/289/Products/Brushes/Eye/266-Small-Angle-Brush/index.tmpl?cm_mmc=GoogleBase-_-ShoppingFeed-_-Brushes-_-Eye&77tadunit=fcb8c5d7&77tadvert=10422251319&77tkeyword=&77tentry=prod_listing_PPC">£16.50[/a]. The angle of the brush will help you create the wing of the liner, by placing the brush at the corner of your eye and tilting it up and out until you find your desired shape.

Victoria Beckham

The look at Victoria Beckham this season was a very subtle coppery pink smoky eye. Buff MAC eye shadow in Expensive Pink, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/154/363/Eye-Shadow/index.tmpl">£12.50[/a] across the lid and into the socket line, taking what’s left on the brush onto the lower lash line to create an effortless wash of colour.  Create a glossy finish by dabbing a little Vaseline into the centre of the eyelid with a fingertip.

Dolce & Gabbana

In Milan this season it was all about the berry stained lip and the flushed cheeks.  Apply the Bobbi Brown Lip Colour in Rose Berry, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/product/8902/7524/Mobile/Mob10-Step-Beauty-video/Lip-Color/New-Shades/index.tmpl?cm_mmc=GoogleBase-_-ShoppingFeed-_-Mobile-_-Mob_10StepBeautyvideo&77tadunit=08566737&77tadvert=10008618634&77tkeyword=&77tentrytype=s&77tentry=shopping_feed_ppc&gclid=CMmg7MbX-rkCFdHMtAodgx0Abg">£19[/a] with a finger to create that stained, undone look. For a full flushed cheek look apply the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blusher in Love is the Drug, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.charlottetilbury.com/Blusher/cheek-to-chic-love-is-the-drug.html">£30[/a] from the apples of the cheeks, to the back of the cheek bone and up onto the temples to create a pretty pink and sculpted look.

So, we know this look is a little OTT for a day at the office, but we couldn’t resist these gold leaf looking brows from Dior. Although festival season has just come to a close, it’s a great look to keep in mind for next year no? Try the Maybelline Eyestudio Colour Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Eye Shadow in 25K Gold, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Expression-Color-Tattoo-24hr-Eyeshadow_1253778/">£4.99[/a] to create this opulent look; a quick and easy statement for the low maintenance festival face.

Felder Felder

How pretty is this fresh and dewy Felder Felder look created by makeup artist Mel Arter? Give it a go use a light reflecting foundation such as MaxFactor Whipped Crème, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-Whipped-Creme-Foundation_1378515/">£7.99[/a] and apply a small amount of translucent powder where needed to keep skin looking dewy.  We love Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Laura+Mercier+Loose+Setting+Powder/B063888,default,pd.html">£29[/a]. Vaseline, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.boots.com/en/Vaseline-Lip-Therapy-Petrolium-Jelly-Original-20g_1421/">£1.99 [/a]is a girl’s best friend and a great multi-purpose product for this look too.  Apply a little to your lips and to the top of your cheekbones to stay in keeping with that glowy skin.

Coloured liners have been a popular trend for the last few seasons. Be daring and try the white version from the Kenzo Paris show. The pros? Well white liner reflects light, making those with smaller eyes or hooded lids to appear to have larger peepers. Try the MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/151/323/index.tmpl">£14[/a] applied with the MAC 210 brush, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/145/360/Products/Brushes/Eye/210-Eye-Liner-Brush/index.tmpl">£16.50[/a] for precision and control.

Marc by Marc Jacobs

No, you haven’t accidentally stumbled into an 80’s disco; this was the beckstage beauty look at Marc by Marc Jacobs in New York. Blue eye shadow may seem scary, but go for a wash of an aquatic blue cream shadow like the Make Up Forever Aqua Cream in Intense Blue, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.gurumakeupemporium.com/aqua-cream">£17.95[/a]. Leave lashes free of mascara and skip the liner because this shadow is a statement all by itself.

Monochrome has been a huge fashion trend this season, and makeup artist James Kaliardos created this monochromatic eye with NARS products at Rodarte in New York. Apply NARS Shimmer Eye Shadow in Tibet, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.narscosmetics.co.uk/color/eyes/shimmer-eyeshadow/tibet">£17[/a] with a finger to the inner corner of the eye to create a relaxed and highlighted look. The shimmery pigment reflects the light beautifully, creating that wide, doe-eyed effect. The eye was teamed with a nude lip with a slight sheen; try the universally flattering Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Vintage Pink, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.superdrug.com/rimmel/rimmel-moisture-renew-lipstick-vintage-pink/invt/513679">£6.29[/a].

Tom Ford

Tom Ford believes that ‘eyebrows are one of the most important elements of the face’, so it’s no surprise that the bold brow was one of the focal features of the brand’s backstage beauty look this season. Try the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor, [a target="_blank" href="/weblogEntries/%20http:/www.selfridges.com/en/Beauty/Categories/The-Selfridges-edit/Bridal-beauty/Brow-Sculptor_450-3001058-BROWSCULPTOR/">£34[/a] to create those soft, handsome, Lily Collins brows.

The perfect, simple rock chick look was encapsulated in the makeup look at Versace. A soft liner pencil was used around the rim of the entire eye; try the Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner Pencil, [a target="_blank" href="http://avonshop.co.uk/product/make-up/hall-of-fame/avon-supershock-gel-eyeliner-pencil.html">£3[/a] for a deep black colour which is easy to smudge to create that undone, rockabilly look. Team with a pair of Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&catalogId=11051&productId=1037120&langId=-1&callingViewName&cm_mmc=Paid%20Search-_-Plusbox-_-Link-_-ArdellFashionLashDemiWispiesFalseEyelashes&cm_mmc=pla-_-google-_-Boots+Beauty-_-Beauty+-+PLAs+Brands">£5.49 [/a]and lashings of Benefit They’re Real Mascara, [a target="_blank" href="http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/theyre-real">£19.50[/a] for bold, separated long lashes which will keep people talking until next season.
