Jennifer Lawrence’s Fitness Trainer Reveals Her Red Carpet Body Secrets: EXCLUSIVE

There’s no doubt that Jennifer Lawrence stole the show and the red carpet at last night’s EE BAFTA Awards in her stunning pink Dior Couture gown and sophisticated slicked by hair. Looking every inch the movie star and with a body- to -die for (Make that healthy, toned and curvy) graziadaily spoke exclusively to her trainer and friend Dalton Wong from twenty two training  about her pre-red carpet preparation and how he made sure she looked and felt her best before hitting the awards. Here’s the lowdown…

1)      She takes soothing and detoxing Epsom Salt Baths:

‘On Saturday I gave Jenifer some Epsom salts to bathe in which really helps to get rid of any bloating in the body before slipping into a red carpet dress, it’s a great trick that anyone can use if they’re working up to wearing a particularly clingy dress.’  

2)      It’s All About Anti- Bloating Food:

‘If she  feels good, she looks good which is why I made sure she was eating the right foods to keep her energy levels up and minimise the risks of bloating. Lean turkey and asparagus were on the menu for Jennifer on Saturday and Sunday plus lots and lots of water.’ 

3)      Less Sweating More Stretching:

‘Because she’d just flown in and was suffering from bad Jet leg; we didn’t do much in the way of working out. Instead I concentrated on making her feel more invigorated rather than working on anything too physical. We stretched out her hips and her back with yoga/Pilates moves to make her feel longer and leaner and to kick start her body.  This also works on improving her posture which can go a long way on the red carpet.’

4)      Her Dandelion & Chamomile Tea Red Carpet Combo:

‘Chamomile tea helps to calm the body and get rid of stress that could build up before an event like this lead to bloating, the Dandelion tea is a brilliant diuretic so helps to prevent water retention and flush out toxins.’

5)      Her Pre-Bafta Breakfast and Lunch:

‘The morning of the awards Jen ate eggs for breakfast and had a light lunch of Tomato soup and lean turkey to wake up her energy levels and keep her going all day.’

6)      Jen’s Post Awards-Energy Secrets:

‘Its’ the end of a loooong awards season and after a big event like Bafta it’s my job to make sure Jennifer  is feeling good and to help her get over any fatigue she may be feeling.  Especially important as she’s’ about to step on yet another   plane. This morning I made sure she had a healthy, protein shake for breakfast and an energising carrot and ginger juice to keep her fighting fit.'
