Trend Tuesday: Our New-Season Beauty Charts Is A Real Beauty Bonanza

29 October 2013 by

Now that the clocks have gone back it’s safe to say that we are now fully in the grips of winter’s hold. Already feeling depressed by the mere thought of leaving the office in the dark and bitter cold? Alas, fear not, fellow Graziettes, as tis the season to embrace your natural, come-in-from-the-cold pink cheek, which, FYI, is bang on-trend this season. In fact, nothing says winter more than a natural, rosy glow. Cheeky!

Already busy stocking up your make-up bag with this season’s new beauty treats? Make some space for our pick of the crop- just arm yourself with the new issue of Grazia, out today, where you’ll find a rather awesome feature in the beauty pages dedicated to the best autumn beauty buys- with everything from the hottest nail polishes to hot-off-the-press skincare staples, we’ve got one heck of a beauty bonanza lined up for you.

In the meantime, however, the one easy-peasy beauty look we can all get to grips with is indeed the rosy cheek. Not only one of the most straight-forward looks to achieve during the colder months (with or without makeup!), it’s also one of the most universally flattering looks, and guarantees an awesome snow bunny glow. The rosy flush is an uber feminine look- just remember to keep skin’s hydration topped up at all times and keep eye make-up minimal for a naturally pretty look.

Want in? For a fool-proof glow, choose a shade of blush that matches your cheeks when naturally flushed (post winter walk, workout, you get the picture), or simply match your cheeks to your lip colour. As a rule, fairer skin tones look great in rose and peach, whereas darker skin suits red and apricot hues.
