Cate Blanchett’s Radiant Glow

Cate sure had reason to be glowing from the inside on Sunday evening- not only did the Grazia fave actress scoop up the Best Actress award but totally won our Best Skincare Routine, too! As SK-II’s global ambassador, Cate said, “As with any important event, I am slightly more indulgent with my skincare routine in the lead up. My daily ritual has long been the SK-II LXP Ultimate Perfecting Series with the Treatment Essence but I will complement this with other SK-II treatment products that help to give my skin that added boost. “ The official secret to a winning A-list glow!

Mila Kunis’ Glossy Hair

Rumours reaching Grazia HQ inform us that A-list Hollywood colourist Denis de Souza was prepping Mila’s hair the entire week before the event. He told us beauty ladies, “Mila’s hair always has incredible shine. You can recreate that stunning, mirror-like shine and make your colour pop with Pop & Lock Crystallite Shellac, [a target="_blank" href="">£14[/a]. Like a nail top coat that creates incredible shine and a layer of protection that helps polish last longer, Pop & Lock does the same for hair. It's an easy way to add high gloss shimmer and shine.”

Amy Adams’ Grecian Up-Do

Us beauty ladies truly love a Grecian-inspired up-do so were over the moon to spy Amy Adams’ plaited creation. The work of no less than celebrity hairdresser Laini Reeves who said, “I wanted to give the hair a more textured look to complement the clean, simple lines of Amy’s gorgeous Valentino dress.” Want to get the look at home? You’ll be thrilled to hear that Laini used a whole host of Charles Worthington Salon At-Home products on Amy’s hair- available from your local Boots.

Olivia Wilde’s Purple Smoky Eye

Celebrity make-up artist Melanie Inglessis was backstage working on her magic on mum-to-be and Grazia fave Olivia Wilde, creating a sexy purple smoky eye paired with a super-sexy natural lip. Beauty buff Melanie told us, “We wanted a look that would complement the dress and be sexy and cool. We kept her skin dewy and fresh with sheer coverage. Olivia’s just gorgeous and pulls off a smoky eye like no-one else, so we created a purple smoky eye that was not too overdone, or polished and finished it off with a natural lip that had a glossy finish. It really looked effortless and captured her style.”

Michelle Dockery’s Sleek Bob

Sascha Breuer, Braun’s Global Style Director, was the hair guru behind Ms Dockery’s super-sleek ‘do- check out that shine! Sascha said, “Michelle’s been teasing Hollywood reporters all weekend leading up to the Globes, hinting at her choice of dress.  I was one of the lucky few who got a sneak peek, and after seeing her gorgeous embroidered cream-colored Oscar de la Renta gown, I chose to keep it modern with a looser, more playful, slightly dishevelled take on the often-rigidly Edwardian styles she wears in her role as Lady Mary.”
