We've all given French manicures with sleek white tips a try but there's nothing more fun that dipping into nail art. While the likes of Katy Perry and Rita Ora are constant sources of fun nail-spiration, it's the Spring Summer 2014 catwalks that really get us gawping.
Kenzo took the traditional french mani and gave it a new twist with their more tonal nail art. The Kenzo nails ascend from a dark hue to pristine white peaks, which gives the impression that you have mountain tops on your finger tips. Nice!
Similar to Kenzo, Ashish experimented by reversing swapping the conventional white tips with black, but instead of this being painted at the tips of the nails, Ashish coated the base of the nail close to the cuticle. From afar, the nails appeared unkempt as if the varnish has been peeled off.
Fashion East and PPQ braved even bolder nail art. Fashion East put the art into nail art, as the manis resemble suprematist paintings such as that of Piet Mondrian. The asymmetric pattern alongside bold and fiery colour to match the models' red lipstick added dollops of pizzazz.
The nail art sphere has no limits, so dip right into the nail art fun. Whether you're eager to try new colours, patterns or shapes, you'll get plenty of ideas in the gallery above...
