GALLERY >> Our Backstage Beauty Highlights From LFW
1. Matte Black Nails At Sister By Sibling
Listen up girls! If there was a ever a case in point for buying a matte top coat this might just be it. The models backstage at sister by Sibling had their hands transformed with black matte false nails topped off with a red, French manicure esque tip.
2. The Midas Touch
Backstage at Antipodium we were blown away by the amazing gold shimmer on the models eyes. Georgina Graham for MAC told us, "this makeup is understated minimal glam with the Midas touch." Totally gorgeous- and we LOVE the Ancient Greek inspired dreadlocks- too cool.
3. Charlotte Tilbury Goes Luxe Handsome
Us Grazia ladies are huge fans of Charlotte Tilbury and couldn't wait to catch up with her backstage at Joseph where the models were all sporting luxe handsome glows, thanks to a clever bit of mixing (Charlottes Magic Cream and Bar Of Gold, we'll have you know...)
4. Vita Coco Refuel
Despite the roaring winds outside, things were really heating up behind the scenes at Belstaff. Thank heavens for Vita Coco Coconut Water- our favourite kind of hydration!
5. Green is the new black
Over at uber cool House of Holland, MAC artist Lucia pica informed us that inky-green eyes are going to be huge for aw14... You read it here first! Totally gorgeous.
6. Barbie chic beauties at Sophia Webster
Inspiration for this sugary beauty look came from no less than 90s hit flick Clueless- too cute! Somewhere between Paris Hilton and Alicia Silverstone came this super cute, highly polished look. Pink to make the boys wink, we were told...
7. Babyskin Alert!
There's no denying that one of team Grazia beauty's fave products is maybellines baby skin so you can imagine how excited we were to discover that the models backstage at Richard Nicoll were having their skin primed to perfection by Maybelline's makeup legend Sharon Dowsett with no less than Babyskin and a slick of concealer. The result? A fresh, dewy complexion.
8. New product alert!
Backstage at Marios Schwab our beady beauty eyes spotted butter London artist Katie Jane Hughes using two new products. Get excited girls- a new handcream (which smells oh so delicious and super floral FYI) and a super nifty cuticle moisturising stick will be launching in march- prime for a new season update. Dry hands be gone!
9. Val Garland gets personal
When it comes to makeup artists, there's no denying we are in total awe of the legend that is val garland. Backstage at Vivienne Westwood we spied val using this amazing personalised palette. Like a 21st century Van Gogh, Val was busy mixing MAC pigments together for a real hit of colour on both the models lips and cheeks.
10. Clarisonic Facials
With models racing around in between shows, skin's bound to get a little dirty, right? Throw in several makeup changes and early morning starts and you're talking some seriously stressed out skin. Lucky for the girls at Temperley, an army of clarisonic facialists were on hand to prime the models' skin to absolute perfection. After all, a Clarisonic has the power to cleanse 6 times better than manual cleansing... Cue total skin heaven! What's more, a plethora of Sunday Riley products were on standby to primp and preen to A list worthy heights.
