Ciaté London just got a New York twist: they've announced the impossibly glossy Olivia Palermo as their new creative director. Olivia will be consulting with the brand to make four limited edition collections which will be stocked at Sephora stores across the globe - the range will be available in the UK at as of yet unconfirmed stockist. The pairing makes perfect sense as Olivia's nails are always better painted than some pieces hanging in the Tate Britain.
The brand say 'Olivia will be utilising her wealth of fashion and design experience to inject an iconic elegance into the debut collaboration, including bespoke packaging, product and formula.' We say, if it's good enough for the incredibly well-manicured (and well blow dryed and made up, for that matter) Ms Palermo, it's good enough for us. Launching in May, the first seasonal edit will house an exclusive, limited edition range for summer 2015.
Expect three shades of nail colour per collection, hand-selected by Olivia as the most chic shades, but also promise to flatter all skin tones. The polishes will have a mesh-lock technology, which helps to prevent against chips whilst strengthening the nails. I’m an admirer of their innovation, I’ve enjoyed the creative process and I’m looking forward to the launch of the products coming to life”, Olivia said.
And that's not all: the brand are now expanding their makeup offering and bringing out colour cosmetics. For autumn of this year, expect lipsticks, eye palettes and a contouring kit.
