Make-Up Artist Stephanie G-M Shows Us What's Inside Her Make-Up Bag

Earlier this week, we were lucky enough to catch up with one of Grazia’s favourite freelance make-up artists, Stephanie G-M, who was more than happy to share the secrets of her make-up bag with us...

We’ve always been huge fans of Stephanie’s make-up magic, and her talented hands have prepped many a shoot for us here at Grazia, as well as working on campaigns for Rimmel, Selfridges and H&M to name but a few. Having worked with some of Hollywood’s hottest faces- from Elle Macpherson to Paz de la Huerta, we reckon Stephanie knows a thing or two about beauty!

Stephanie says, “Any new products I get I test out on myself before they make it to my kit. That way, I know the best way to use each product, and some become permanent fixtures in my own makeup bag just like these little beauties…” Read on and learn, ladies!

Inside Stephanie's Make-Up Bag

Shu Uemura Classic High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil, £59: This classic comes everywhere with me whether I’m travelling for a night or a fortnight. It’s the only thing that removes panda eyes and leaves my skin silky smooth.

Jurlique Skin Balancing Oil, £35.00: Oils are nature’s gift and Jurlique perfected it with this little gem. Hydrates like a moisturizer and smells amazing.

Bobbi Brown BB cream, £28.00: I am a firm believer in less is more, only cover what you need to and this BB cream is the perfect daywear cover.

Nars Duo Concealer, £23.00: For days when my call time is before sunrise this concealer disguises the darkness under my eyes with complete ease and leaves no creases.

MAC Crèmeblend Blush in Posey, £17.50: Nothing says good morning better than a good blusher!

Illamasqua Brow Gel, £11.50: Glue for the face! Eyebrows frame the face- I feel naked if I haven’t done my eyebrows and with this product I never have to worry about redo’s.

Laura Mercier Eyebrow Pencil, £16.50: My eyebrows are dark so I need something that fills in the gaps and keeps them defined naturally. Without this I am naked!

Nars Larger than Life Mascara, £18.50: Defines and lengthens even when you’re running out.

MAC Prep and Prime Lip, £12.00: Once you try it you’ll never apply liner or lipstick without it.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder, £23.00: The sun should always shine and with this bronzer it does for me!

Loui Harrison Potts (Thu Jun 27 10:38:55 BST 2013): My favourite must use product on the photo has to be the Lucas Papaw ointment, Its a shame its not mentioned in the right up though! I picked up the tip 2 years ago from a similar right up on another celeb make up artist. And its the best thing since sliced bread, for dry chapped lips or dry hands and feet in winter! Mine goes everywhere with me, I use mine last thing at night and first thing in the morning and over a lip tint in the daytime as a nice glossy sheen.
Eve Dawoud (Fri Jun 28 12:19:00 BST 2013): xcuse typos!
