Because She's Worth It: Lara Stone Unveiled As Global Spokesperson For L’Oreal Paris

We’ve had our beady beauty eyes on gorgeous Dutch model Lara Stone ever since she made her catwalk debut for Riccardo Tisci in a Givenchy couture show in Paris back in 2006. Fast forward to 2013 and the stunning 29-year old has opened shows for Stella McCartney, Chanel, Balmain, Fendi and Isabel Marant, alongside becoming a muse to designers and fronting major campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and Belstaff. Is there anything the blonde beauty hasn’t got time for? Apparently not, as beauty giants L’Oreal Paris have just unveiled the Dutch beauty as their new global spokesperson. Way to go, Lara!

Currently ranked as the tenth best paid model in the world we reckon Stone has the perfect superstar credentials to join the ranks of stars such as Beyonce, Claudia Schiffer, Doutzen Kroes, Julianne Moore, Laetitia Casta and Jane Fonda in representing beauty giants L’Oreal. However, the ever-modest Lara said she never dreamed of working alongside such famous faces: “I never could really see myself in their line up.” Well Lara, we think you’re totally worth it! With her incredible curves, Bardot-esque features and that infamous gap-toothed grin, Lara has, over the years, become one serious beauty icon.

So how does Miss Stone feel about uttering those famous four words: Because you’re worth it? “I think that’s a pretty incredible message to convey. Beauty is something you invent for yourself. It’s a powerful way of claiming who you really are,” gushed Stone. We couldn’t agree more and we’re beyond excited to see what’s coming next.
