Kate Upton's assault on the fashion world has been meteoric and starry. Now it looks like she's taking on the world of beauty too! Fans of the curvaceous blonde Sports Illustrated cover girl will be delighted to hear the news that she has just yesterday taken over Katie Holmes as the face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics. In our humble opinion there couldn't be anyone more fitting!
Some might say it's the marriage of two very social media-minded brands (Bobbi Brown has over 249,000 Twitter followers while anything Upton posts on Instagram gets liked by hundreds of thousands). But we also reckon it's a pairing that's fun and that fits. In the new edition of US Vogue the model and makeup artist/beauty mogul Bobbi Brown are interviewed together, and it's a lovely read.

"Besides being strong and confident, she [Kate] is really smart," said Brown to US Vogue. "She knows exactly who she is and who her brand is. She told me she called her mom and her sister right away when she found out. She was so excited about doing it! That's what I love about Kate: she's a real girl. And she's not a waif-y supermodel. She was an athlete, so she's comfortable with her body. She's really kind of every woman."
While we're not sure Upton is quite every woman (don't know how much of an athlete you are...), we can't deny that bringing together Bobbi Brown's manifesto of enhancing your natural beauty with Upton's upbeat celebration of her natural curves is nothing short of fabulous.
