Is Cara Delevingne Responsible For The Rise In Sales Of Brow-Boosting Beauty Products?

18 March 2013 by

Yes, we’re the first to admit it – we’d quite like to swap lives with Cara Delevingne. From her uber-successful modelling career to her A-list friends like Rihanna and Rita Ora to her cool big sister Poppy, to her amazing wardrobe stuffed with Burberry Prorsum and, err, animal onesies (?)

But it seems there’s one element of Cara’s winning formula that quite a few of you have already thought about emulating – her luscious dark eyebrows. Not only were the AW13 catwalks populated by bushy-browed models but sales of eyebrow pencils are on the up over 90% at Debenhams (96% increase for dark brown and 91% for medium brown) and plastic surgeons are even offering a procedure to ‘transplant’ more hairs onto your brow if you’ve overplucked them and lived to regret your enthusiastic tweezer sessions.

Just like Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge before her, women could well have been inspired by Cara to try out a bolder brow. Our friends on the Grazia beauty desk have gleefully informed us that RapidBrow - the eyebrow enhancing serum - has seen sales increase by 28% over the last six weeks – ever since the pictures from fashion week – in which Cara walked on so many catwalks we’ve lost count – and bared her bushy brows in all of them.

RapidBrow is available from Boots priced £37 - just so you know!

In order to celebrate her brows and general gorgeousness and indulge and wallow in our terrible case of brow-envy, here are some of her best looks from fashion week – both on the catwalk and off duty. Enjoy!
