Nahid de Belgeonne
When us beauty ladies are feeling a little frazzled we head straight for Good Vibes yoga studio- one of London’s best kept beauty secrets in our opinion! Specialising in restorative yoga, Good Vibes offers Glow Yoga and Pilates classes in Europe’s first-ever infra-red heated studio. Cool, right? What’s more, those clever infra-red panels are a guaranteed stress-buster as they warm your bones, allowing the body to open and relax, as well as offering a whole host of soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits. So, you can only imagine how excited we were to catch up with the founder of Good Vibes, Nahid de Belgeonne. Read on for the beauty must-haves Nahid simply couldn’t be without…
Inside Nahid's make-up bag
Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm, £37.10: This is great for patches of dry skin- I use it on elbows, knees, heels and hands- a real muti-tasker!
Aveda Peppymint, £6.00: As a teacher I always need to have fresh breath and this little pot is small enough to throw in your handbag too.
Purell Hand Sanitizing Gel, £1.50: I always have this to hand.
Darphin VITALSKIN Anti-Fatigue Dynamizing Serum, £49: This is a must-have for radiant, dewy skin. I wear this under my moisturizer and re-apply throughout the day.
Lipsticks: I have a three lipstick strategy! My current favourites are Lipstick Queen Saint in Scarlet Red, £20- a gorgeous translucent red for during the day, Fresh Lipstick in Cranberry Lemonade (I found this brand over in New York and can’t get enough!) and MAC Lipstick in Lady Bug, £15 to vamp things up for the evening!
Organic Pharmacy Liquid Eyeliner in Black, £17.95: I get a reaction to most liquid eyeliners. I have been wearing the same look since I was 15, black eyeliner with red lipstick. I never wear foundation or powder as I prefer my skin to breathe. I don’t mind under eye circles as it’s a sign to sleep more!
