How To Get Chanel’s Disco Couture Eyes

Us beauty ladies are in the midst of a full-blown love affair with Paris Couture Fashion Week right now- with some serious beauty-spiration landing on our desks every 5 minutes, it’s safe to say we are in total heaven! What’s more, this week saw Karl Lagerfeld unveil his vision for Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring Summer 2014 collection- presenting a shimmering palette of silver and whites headed up by no less than catwalk queen Cara. Models bounded down the catwalk in trainers under the glass domes of the Grand Palais- exhibiting a feast of lace, embellishment and pastel shades. Glittering silvers dominated the collection, and this theme was underscored by the work of Peter Philips’ beauty team. In fact, team Grazia beauty managed to get some backstage scoop from the show and a little birdie tells us that Peter used the show to put a couple of Chanel’s new products to the test…

Philips made eyes the focus of his look, with a bold flick of matt black liner on the top lid complimented by iridescent glitter sweeping across the bottom. To achieve the flawless skin the models sported, you can combine Chanel’s Eclat Lumiere, £27 with their Correcteur Perfection, £27 and Poudre Universelle Libre (launching 11th April FYI). A dramatic flick can also be achieved using Chanel’s Graphique de Chanel, £26 and subtle lips created using the brand’s Rouge Coco Shine Satisfaction No89, available from February. We're spellbound!
