The world’s most enviable kitty, none other than Karl Largerfeld’s Choupette, has been chosen to front the new Shu Uemura holiday campaign with her very own range, “Shupette”. See what they've done there? Talk about a coup!
With a staggering 37,000 Twitter followers, Choupette has achieved a lot in her 3 cat years (21 human), having acted as both model and muse for Karl. So it’s only logical that Choupette is regularly inundated with modelling offers but a protective father like Karl made sure to wait until the right offer came along. Considering Karl has employed Shu Uemura make-up to hand-colour his illustrations for more than 20 years, it was a puurrrfect fit (sorry).

Full details of the collaboration are still under wraps, however WWD suggests that the Shupette range is likely to include furry false eyelashes, and includes a quote from the cat, calling herself “queen of catnaps” and “social media’s most wanted”. With her very own biography due out in September, "the cat that got the cream" has never felt more fitting.
