Another Brilliant Beauty Collab! Jason Wu Joins Forces With Lancôme For Makeup Collection

Jason Wu and his latest Lancôme offerings

Hot on the heels of their gorgeous collaboration with Alber Elbaz, make-up giants Lancôme have just unveiled yet another fash-beauty scorcher. Wait for it, ladies, as this is pretty big news for a Friday morning- Jason Wu will be launching a limited-edition beauty collection with the brand, set to debut this September during New York Fashion Week.

Speaking to WWD, Wu said, “I think make-up is one of the closest parts to fashion — it goes hand in hand in almost every single case. When you have great hair and make-up, it brings out the clothes even more. This… is one of my favourite collaborations I’ve ever done.” Excited? Yep, we are!

American designer Wu is no wallflower when it comes to runway beauty- remember the bold make-up looks during his A/W 2013 New York Fashion Week shows? Hint- that totally amazing, sultry blue eye-shadow? Well, rumours reaching Grazia HQ say that these bold blue hues could well be an integral part to the Wu-Lancôme collaboration. We can’t wait to see these beauties!

The much anticipated collection will include 3 eye-shadow palettes, dark navy mascara (we want) and a whole host of red lipsticks and nail polishes. What’s more, the palettes and packaging will be in Wu’s signature dove grey, topped off with the designer’s name and the legendary Lancôme rose. Sounds seriously hot, if you ask us.

However, unless you’ve got a holiday to the States booked for September, you’re unfortunately going to have to wait a while to get your pretty paws on the new collection. Officially, the range is limited edition, but it’s pretty likely it will lead to additional collections, most probably moving to global markets. Wu said, “This one is certainly not going to be my last.” Our eyes: peeled.
